Nguyen Ngoc Bich Tram, a student at Chau Thanh Town Secondary School, Tay Ninh has always pursued her dream of becoming a tour guide to help her family get out of poverty.

The program "Trao Cơ hội - Nối ước mơ" this time came to Chau Thanh, Tay Ninh to give wings to dreams for Nguyen Ngoc Bich Tram, a student of class 9A3, Chau Thanh Town Secondary School. Bich Tram is a student with difficult circumstances but always tries to excel in her studies and the clearest proof is the titles of excellent students she has achieved. Not only that, but Bich Tram is also an exemplary class leader, always fulfilling the task of taking the lead in the school's movements.

It is known that in class, Bich Tram is a bright example of learning for her friends to follow. She is very loved by teachers and friends because of her hard work, enthusiasm in building lessons and her sociable personality, ready to help friends in both learning and playing activities at school. However, behind that, she is the most difficult case in the class. At home, even though she is not the eldest sister, Bich Tram is still worried about her brother who has a serious illness and is a spiritual support for her parents.

Bich Tram's parents have been working in rubber plantations for 15 years, and about the same time her family has lived here. Her parents have to work from 12pm to 9am but their income is only 250,000 VND per day - this is also the only source of income for the whole family. Therefore, her family is always in the poor household of the commune.

The income is precarious, the house they are living in is also built temporarily on the land borrowed from the owner of the rubber garden, so when the younger brother has a serious illness, the difficult life of the Tram family becomes even more difficult. The hardships in her parents' livelihood, she always know and use that as a motivation to try to study well. The difficulties do not stop there, knowing that her brother is sick, Tram becomes even stronger and is a solid support for both her parents and brother in the difficult journey ahead.

Tram confided, "It's also very difficult now, especially I feel very sorry for my parents, because of latex shaving, they don't have much time to sleep, sometimes my parents have to stay up from 1-2 am to shave. When I study or do anything in studying, I think of my parents. The time I can study and play at school is exchanged for the nights my parents worked hard to shave rubber."

Tram also shared more about her dream in the future to become a tour guide. “I think in the future I want to do a job that earns a lot of money so that my parents don't have to shave rubber anymore, and I want to become a tour guide. Because I really like learning languages, I love learning English. Plus as a class president, I feel confident in communicating and guiding people, so I think it would be great if I could become a tour guide to to unleash my full potential.”

Listening to her dream, the representative of Vietlott and the principal of Chau Thanh Town Secondary School as well as representatives of the District Department of Education and Training visited and presented Bich Tram a scholarship to give her more encouragement on the upcoming journeys. With this scholarship, the representative of Vietlott also wishes that Bich Tram will always be strong, steadfast and make efforts in studying, especially English, to become a tour guide in the future as she wish.
