Mr. Thuan remembers: In the past, people in Kinh Dao hamlet mostly went to work, went to the market, and went to school, they had to move to the other side of the river by boat, which was very dangerous. Seeing this, people called together to contribute wood, planks, iron, bamboo, etc. to build a temporary bridge.

However, after only 1-2 sunny seasons, the "temporary" bridge was badly damaged. Although it is regularly restored, it is always in a state of disrepair. Especially, on rainy days, people in the hamlet always have to face the danger of deep water.

Listening to the hope of the people, on March 1, 2020, Vietlott cooperated with the Hope Fund to participate in building a bridge over the hamlet of Kinh Dao Hamlet to help people agree. traffic convenience. The bridge was named Hope 99, according to the aspiration of all people in Kinh Dao hamlet.

“When visiting the area, we heard many wishes to have a sure bridge across the river. As an organization that cares about social activities and helping the community, we cannot ignore this urgent need and quickly implement it. Praying for Hope has now come true, is the whole wish of the people in the hamlet." - Vietlott representative shared.

After 8 months of construction, on September 19, Hope 99 bridge will be officially put into use. According to local officials, after the completion of Hope 99 bridge, the entire old bridge system will be moved to a deeper area to gradually remove plank bridges and temporary rural bridges, ensuring safety for people. .
